Banjarmasin \u2013 Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) has once again produced professional healthcare professionals through the Oath-Taking Ceremony for batch XLI Dentists held by the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) ULM on Monday (February 23, 2026) in the 3rd-floor Main Lecture Hall of the Faculty. This event was held based on Rector’s Decree Number 149\/UN8\/SP\/2026 concerning the ratification of the 2026 FKG ULM Dentist Graduates.<\/p>\n
Six graduates of the Dentistry Professional Program\u00a0were\u00a0officially sworn in by the Dean of FKG ULM. They are: Drg. Muhammad Soni Fitrian, Drg. Talitha Dwi Avissa, Drg. Chandra Wijaya, Drg. Nurul Ikhsani Umar, Drg. Andres Migael Hidalgo, and Drg. Eta Maulida Shalehah. The solemn ceremony was witnessed by Acting Rector of ULM Dr. Ir. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc., Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. drg. Maharani Laillyza Apriasari, Sp.PM., Chair of the Faculty Senate, Head of the Banjarmasin Provincial and City Health Offices, Chair of the Indonesian Dental Association (PDGI) of South Kalimantan, Directors of network hospitals, and families of the graduates.<\/p>\n
In his remarks, Dr. Yusuf Azis emphasized that the oath-taking ceremony is an important milestone in the dental profession and the beginning of community service. He emphasized the high demand for dentists in South Kalimantan, thus providing excellent career opportunities for graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry of ULM (ULM) and contributing to improving public health.<\/p>\n
The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Maharani, also encouraged the graduates to continue developing their competencies through continuing education, workshops, and skills training. “The struggle doesn’t stop here. Continue to increase your knowledge and improve your skills,” she advised.<\/p>\n
The ceremony continued with the signing of the oath-taking ceremony. A representative of the graduates, Dr. Muhammad Soni Fitrian, expressed his gratitude to the lecturers and clinical supervisors for their guidance. He reiterated his commitment to practicing the knowledge and skills acquired during his education at the Faculty of Dentistry of ULM.<\/p>\n
Through this momentum, the ULM Faculty of Dentistry reaffirms its commitment to producing superior human resources in the field of dental and oral health, adapting to scientific developments, and ready to meet future healthcare needs.<\/p>\n
