{"id":29751,"date":"2025-12-26T16:42:12","date_gmt":"2025-12-26T08:42:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ulm.ac.id\/en\/?p=29751"},"modified":"2026-01-02T15:43:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T07:43:21","slug":"moa-between-fkip-ulm-and-criced-at-the-university-of-tsukuba-focuses-on-research-and-academic-exchange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ulm.ac.id\/en\/2025\/12\/26\/moa-between-fkip-ulm-and-criced-at-the-university-of-tsukuba-focuses-on-research-and-academic-exchange\/","title":{"rendered":"MoA between FKIP ULM and CRICED at the University of Tsukuba Focuses on Research and Academic Exchange"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ibaraki, Japan \u2013 The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Center for Research on International Cooperation in Educational Development (CRICED) at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, on Monday (November 24th).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The signing was carried out by Professor Dr. Atiek Winarti, Professor of the Chemistry Education Department of FKIP ULM, representing the Dean of FKIP ULM, Sunarno Basuki, along with the Director of CRICED at the University of Tsukuba, Masami Isoda. This collaboration includes the development of collaborative research projects, lecturer and researcher exchanges, the exchange of academic information and publications, and collaboration in international conferences and academic activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. Atiek Winarti&#8217;s presence in Japan also forms part of the implementation of international cooperation through the 4th Non-Degree Overseas Training (NDOT) program organized by CRICED at the University of Tsukuba. This program is a collaboration between CELLS of the Indonesian University of Education (UPI), the Indonesian Association of Lesson Study (ALSI), and the Indonesian Association of STEM Education (PPSTEMI).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The NDOT training aims to improve educators&#8217; capacity to transform learning through lesson study approaches, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, data science, and artificial intelligence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. Atiek explained that this collaborative follow-up is closely related to the planned establishment of the Doctoral Program in Natural Science Education (PIPA) at the ULM Postgraduate School. The University of Tsukuba&#8217;s annual focus on STEM is considered aligned with the program&#8217;s vision, which embraces an ethnoscience or ethno-STEM approach. He added that the NDOT program has the potential to become an academic option for doctoral students in the future, although it is still in the discussion stage and has received a positive response from faculty leadership.
