The event, held on Monday (December 8, 2025) at the ULM Banjarmasin Faculty of Law Auditorium, was part of a series of educational campaigns by the South Kalimantan High Prosecutor&#8217;s Office to promote an anti-corruption culture in the academic environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The public lecture, themed &#8220;Eradicating Corruption for the Prosperity of the People,&#8221; featured two keynote speakers: Dr. Abdul Mubin, S.T., S.H., M.H., Assistant for Special Crimes at the South Kalimantan High Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, and Yuni Priyono, S.H., M.H., Head of the Legal Information Section at the South Kalimantan High Prosecutor&#8217;s Office. Both presented material related to the dynamics of handling corruption cases, the challenges of law enforcement in the digital era, and prevention strategies through strengthening integrity from an early age.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In his presentation, Dr. Abdul Mubin emphasized that corruption eradication is not only focused on enforcement but also has a social welfare dimension. He stated that legal firmness must be accompanied by a shared commitment so that its benefits are truly felt by the wider community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, Yuni Priyono emphasized the important role of universities in building an anti-corruption ecosystem. She stated that students are future leaders in various sectors, so the value of integrity needs to be instilled from their college years. &#8220;Synergy with the campus is key. An anti-corruption culture must develop into a habit, not just a slogan,&#8221; he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students from the Faculty of Law, ULM, enthusiastically participated in the discussion. Various questions were raised regarding law enforcement mechanisms, the effectiveness of corruption prevention, and the strategic role of universities in building a society with integrity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this public lecture, ULM demonstrated its commitment to supporting comprehensive and sustainable legal education.
