Chandra Wins Bronze Medal and Favorite Poster Award at the INTEGRATION 2025 International Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Malang \u2013 Students from Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) have once again achieved a proud achievement. The Greenlight Projectors team from the ULM Faculty of Agriculture won a Bronze Medal and the Favorite Poster award at the prestigious International Agricultural Technology Paper Competition (INTEGRATION) 2025, held by Brawijaya University (UB) in Malang, East Java, from November 1\u20134, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The team, consisting of Rodhiyatam Mardhiyah (Agricultural Industrial Technology 2023), Risa Pratama Syahputri (Agronomy 2023), and M. Chandra Adi Saputra (Agronomy 2023), presented a scientific paper entitled &#8220;Bioluminescent Plant: Adoption of Futuristic Luminescence Technology in Realizing Energy Resilience and Environmental Sustainability in Indonesia.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In their work, they proposed a revolutionary idea: a plant that produces or emits light (bioluminescent plant) as an alternative natural light source to lamps. This innovation was developed using a Sustainable Bioenergy &amp; Green Technology approach, mapping the biochemical mechanisms of plants that can produce natural light while absorbing carbon emissions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this futuristic concept, the ULM team hopes that bioluminescence technology can be part of efforts to achieve energy security and environmental sustainability in Indonesia. In the competition, they also presented a scientific poster entitled &#8220;Bioluminescent Plant: Lighting the Future with Nature,&#8221; which captivated the judges and participants, earning them the Favorite Poster Award.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rodhiyatam revealed that the preparation process began in early July, going through various selection stages, from the abstract to the final presentation and prototype creation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Our biggest challenges were the use of English and the formulation of ideas, which were still considered futuristic. But thanks to our hard work and the support of our supervising lecturers, we were able to complete everything well and gained an extraordinary experience,&#8221; he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Greenlight Projectors team also acknowledged the many new learnings they received during the event, from an international seminar on fermented food and bioenergy to a field trip to the Sweetener and Fiber Crop Plants Manufacturing and Modernization Agency (BRMP) in Malang.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We received a lot of inspiration from the other highly competitive participants. This motivated us to continue being ambitious and innovative,&#8221; added Risa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This success was due to the support of the ULM Faculty of Agriculture and accompanying lecturer Dr. Hilda Susanti, S.P., M.Si., who provided academic guidance and assistance with facilities throughout the competition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ULM Rector Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Si., also expressed his appreciation for this achievement as proof that ULM students possess high competitiveness and a spirit of global innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;This achievement demonstrates that ULM students are capable of visionary thinking and scientific innovation to address future challenges. The university will remain committed to encouraging the development of the interests, talents, and creativity of its academic community so that they continue to excel at the national and international levels,&#8221; he emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the spirit of green innovation, ULM continues to support the creation of superior research projects that are grounded in local potential but have a global orientation. The achievements of the Greenlight Projectors team are proof that big ideas can emerge from the ULM campus, inspiring the younger generation to continue working for the earth and humanity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The INTEGRATION 2025 competition is an annual international event organized by the Agritech Research and Study Club (ARSC) of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Brawijaya University. The ULM Faperta team competed against 12 top teams from various renowned universities in Indonesia and abroad, including Diponegoro University, Gadjah Mada University, as well as participants from Singapore and Taiwan.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malang \u2013 Students from Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) have once again achieved a proud achievement.
