This prestigious event was held at Diponegoro University, Semarang, from October 25-28, 2025.

In this PILMAPRES event, Nabila, as she is familiarly known, presented an innovative idea called FISORA—an intervention system based on Mixed Reality and adaptive EEG neurofeedback developed within the Nusantara Psychologist Network ecosystem. FISORA is designed to achieve two major strategic goals: first, expanding access and equity of technology-based services through the integration of mixed reality, electroencephalogram (EEG), and artificial intelligence (AI) throughout the region; Second, strengthening the capacity of psychologists and the national system through training, certification, and integration of FISORA into national health policies and services, including BPJS Kesehatan.

The idea for FISORA arose from Nabila’s concern about the phenomenon of children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), who often face negative stigma from society.

“Naughty and hyperactive children—that’s the label often given to children who have difficulty sitting still, often disturb their friends, can’t focus on learning, and appear impulsive. However, have we ever stopped to ask: is this behavior truly a form of naughtiness, or is it actually a subtle signal of an under-developed psychological condition?” Nabila asked.

This concern prompted Nabila to delve deeper into ADHD and its impact on Indonesian children. When Nabila explored the data further, she discovered a worrying fact: the number of ADHD diagnoses in South Kalimantan is relatively low. However, the reality on the ground appears to be much higher. This low number is not because children don’t have ADHD, but because many cases remain unrecorded and undiagnosed.

According to a report published by the Indonesia National Adolescent Mental Health Survey, there is a significant disparity in the number of skilled professionals. Currently, one clinical psychologist is required to serve up to 90,000 residents, while the ideal ratio, according to WHO standards, is one psychologist for every 30,000 residents. As a result of this disparity, many children miss out on timely intervention. They are continually labeled “naughty” or “unable to focus,” when in fact they may be struggling with neuropsychological conditions that require a professional and measured approach.

Before reaching the top 15 finalists for the PILMAPRES (Presidential Selection), Nabila demonstrated her dedication and academic excellence through various prestigious achievements. In 2025, Nabila won second runner-up in the Saraswati International Competition Vol. III, then first place in the 2nd Teknokrat International Competition on Art and Education, and also first place in the ULM Outstanding Student Selection. These achievements demonstrate Nabila’s consistent pursuit of self-development and significant contributions to academics and research.

In addition to her academic achievements, Nabila also actively contributes to various meaningful social activities. She has conducted psychoeducation sessions on mental health and religious issues within the context of Banjar culture. Nabila also provided initial psychological support for flood survivors, demonstrating her humanitarian commitment to helping communities experiencing trauma and hardship.

Furthermore, ULM Rector Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Si., stated that Nabila’s achievement in reaching the top 15 finalists in the National PILMAPRES (Presidential Selection) is clear evidence of Lambung Mangkurat University’s commitment to producing students who excel not only academically but also possess innovation and social leadership.

FISORA is a real contribution to addressing mental health issues in Indonesia, particularly in increasing access to services and a more inclusive diagnosis of ADHD. Lambung Mangkurat University consistently supports and is proud of the work and dedication of its students who continue to innovate for a better future.

Semarang – Nabila Regita Putri Mustafa, a student in the Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, ULM, has successfully reached the top 15 finalists in the National Outstanding Student Selection (PILMAPRES).
