{"id":28457,"date":"2025-09-10T16:25:50","date_gmt":"2025-09-10T08:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ulm.ac.id\/en\/?p=28457"},"modified":"2025-09-16T09:32:03","modified_gmt":"2025-09-16T01:32:03","slug":"ulm-supports-sasirangan-msmes-at-hsu-through-production-and-marketing-technology-integration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ulm.ac.id\/en\/2025\/09\/10\/ulm-supports-sasirangan-msmes-at-hsu-through-production-and-marketing-technology-integration\/","title":{"rendered":"ULM Supports Sasirangan MSMEs at HSU Through Production and Marketing Technology Integration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AMUNTAI \u2013 Lecturers and students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) conducted a Community Service Program (PKM) at the Ecomel Sasirangan MSME in Telaga Sari Village, South Amuntai, North Hulu Sungai Regency (HSU), from June to December 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program carried the theme &#8220;Optimizing Appropriate Technology and Digital Platforms to Improve the Production and Marketing of Traditional Sasirangan Cloth.&#8221; The activity was funded by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology for the 2025 fiscal year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PKM team leader, Dr. Sri Hartini, M.Sc., explained that the use of appropriate technology (TTG) in the form of a dyeing machine with a capacity for eight fabrics and an e-inventory application helped increase production efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Technology integration allows for a faster and more controlled dyeing process, while e-inventory helps monitor raw materials and finished products in real time,&#8221; she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, Dewi Dewantara, M.Pd., a team member, emphasized the importance of utilizing e-catalogs and digital platforms to expand market reach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Through the e-catalog <a href=\"https:\/\/ecomelsasirangan.com\/\">https:\/\/ecomelsasirangan.com\/<\/a> and marketing via social media, MSMEs can reach new consumers and strengthen their market position,&#8221; she explained.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The series of activities began with a socialization in July 2025, followed by technical training on dyeing equipment, e-inventory creation, and digital marketing from July to August. The team also provided intensive mentoring to ensure the sustainable use of the introduced technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ecomel Sasirangan owner, Zainal Fuad, S.Pd., welcomed the partnership with ULM. &#8220;We feel supported by this mentoring. We hope this will lead to more efficient production, broader marketing, and maintained business sustainability,&#8221; he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this synergy, ULM affirms its commitment to supporting the preservation of local cultural heritage while encouraging the growth of the creative economy in South Kalimantan.
