Through the involvement of its academic community, ULM provided academic perspectives and support for the preservation of regional arts and culture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Head of the ULM Communication Studies Study Program, Dr. Yuanita Setyastuti, S.IP., M.Si., emphasized that dance has value beyond mere aesthetic performance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Dance is not just aesthetics. It is a vehicle that conveys moral messages and noble values reflected in every movement. It is a medium for cultural communication that we must protect and preserve,&#8221; she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The highlight of Luminaria Nusantara 2025 was a Traditional Dance Competition showcasing the cultural diversity of various regions in Indonesia. The enthusiasm of the participants, especially the younger generation, is proof that the arts remain relevant and serve as a means of strengthening togetherness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The South Kalimantan Provincial Education and Culture Office fully supported this activity. The Head of Arts, D. Sunjaya Adhiarso, expressed his appreciation for the event, which he believed was able to rekindle the spirit of cultural preservation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;My admiration is not only for the beauty of the dances performed, but also for the enthusiasm of the participants. This is a concrete manifestation of reintroducing Kalimantan arts to the younger generation,&#8221; he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More than just a performance, Luminaria Nusantara provides a space for shared reflection that culture is a root that must be continuously preserved.
