The farewell ceremony was held to demonstrate their contribution to community empowerment and student capacity building through the 2025 Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The farewell ceremony was also attended by faculty leaders, supervising lecturers, and representatives of student organizations. This event was the first step before the official farewell at the university level for the four ULM teams that successfully received national funding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of the four ULM teams that received PPK Ormawa funding, three are from ULM Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. They are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The FKIK Student Executive Board (BEM) with its Greenlish Tourism program in Kampung Hijau Sungai Bilu, combining the concepts of a tourist village and an English village.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) launched the BUNGAS Women&#8217;s School program in Karang Intan Village to improve women&#8217;s life skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Emergency Nursing Team (TENSI), with the Sobat Nelayan project, created an IoT-based smart buoy to improve the safety and welfare of fishermen in Simpang Warga Village.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Head of the Student and Alumni Potential Development Unit and PIC of the Student Organization Development Program (PPK Ormawa) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (ULM) stated that this achievement makes FKIK the faculty with the highest PPK Ormawa funding at ULM.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;This farewell is not just a ceremony, but part of a strategic effort to prepare students to go to partner villages,&#8221; he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Dean of FKIK ULM, Prof. Dr. dr. Syamsul Arifin, M.Pd., FISPH., FISCM, also provided important guidance to the participants. He emphasized three key aspects to consider during the program&#8217;s implementation:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strengthening student organization institutions through the implementation of impactful programs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Involving secondary and tertiary stakeholders, such as community leaders and beneficiary families, to expand outreach.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sustainability of the program, including mentoring and follow-up plans, ensures that partner villages can continue the initiative independently.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) also emphasized the importance of the team&#8217;s commitment to implementing the program according to the approved proposal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Consistency and collaboration between the implementation team, student organization administrators, and supervising lecturers are key to the program&#8217;s success,&#8221; he emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Student Organization Development Program (PPK Ormawa) itself is part of the broader mission of higher education to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through student community service and empowerment.
