Balangan, January 14-15, 2025 \u2014 Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for the preparation of proposals and instruments for the Off-Campus Study Program (PSDKU) of ULM Banua Enam Balangan. This event was attended by the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems of ULM Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc., the ULM PSDKU Team, the ULM senate, as well as Directors, Deans, and Coordinators of related Study Programs. Also present were representatives of the Balangan Regional Government (Pemda) and the Financial and Asset Management Agency of Balangan Regency.<\/p>\n
This FGD activity aims to strengthen the synergy between ULM and the Balangan Regional Government in developing PSDKU, as part of efforts to equalize access to higher education in the Banua Enam region.<\/p>\n
On the first day, the ULM Team conducted a direct review of the location planned for PSDKU activities. This review includes office space, lecture rooms, administrative facilities, lecturer rooms, libraries, laboratories, and practice areas. This step is important to ensure the readiness of facilities and infrastructure that will support the smooth running of the teaching and learning process at PSDKU ULM Banua Enam Balangan.<\/p>\n
The second day was filled with FGD sessions that focused on the preparation of PSDKU proposals and instruments. Each study program has prepared materials for the preparation of a draft proposal, based on the results of previous discussions and consultations with related leaders. The discussion included details of the contents of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS), provision of administrative or educational staff, librarians, and funding to support PSDKU operations.<\/p>\n
The Vice Rector for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems of ULM emphasized the importance of solid coordination between all parties involved.<\/p>\n
“This FGD is not only to design proposals, but also to be a strategic forum to build a common understanding of the vision and mission of PSDKU ULM in Banua Enam Balangan. We hope that this program can be a driver of higher education progress in this area,” he said.<\/p>\n
By implementing this FGD, it is hoped that ULM and the Balangan Regional Government can strengthen collaboration in developing quality PSDKU, relevant to regional needs, and able to increase the competitiveness of human resources in Banua Enam Balangan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
