Based on the latest data, ULM has successfully risen to 24th place nationally in the research performance category, even though it is currently in the middle cluster.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SINTA is a portal used to measure the performance of science and technology in Indonesia, including the performance of researchers, authors, journals, and higher education institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In SINTA performance, ULM has shown significant improvement. Previously, ULM was ranked 37th nationally in the superior research cluster. Now, even though it is in the middle cluster, ULM&#8217;s ranking in research performance has risen to 24th place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;This proves that the sanction of reducing clustering does not reflect actual research performance. ULM remains the best in the Kalimantan region and is recognized nationally,&#8221; said ULM Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmad, S.E., M.Si.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to research recognition, ULM together with Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) received a mandate from the government to support the national food security program, especially in Kalimantan. This task shows the government&#8217;s trust in the institution&#8217;s ability to manage national strategic programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of efforts to ease the burden on students, ULM also initiated a Single Tuition Fee (UKT) subsidy program for groups 1 and 2, which covers around 20% of the total students. Through collaboration with various stakeholders, ULM strives to provide this subsidy so that students from underprivileged families can enjoy higher education for free.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support from all parties, including local governments, strategic partners, and the community, is needed to realize ULM&#8217;s vision. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We want to ensure that access to quality higher education can be enjoyed by all people, including the underprivileged,&#8221; added the Rector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With increased research performance and an important role in supporting national strategic programs, ULM continues to be committed to becoming a leading university that has a real impact on Kalimantan and Indonesia. &#8220;This achievement is not only for ULM, but also for the entire Kalimantan community who are part of our journey towards advancing education and research,&#8221; he concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Banjarmasin, January 2025 \u2013 Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) has again recorded a proud achievement at the national level with an increase in research performance as measured by the Science and Technology Index (SINTA).
