Jakarta, In order to improve excellent service in the field of information and public relations within the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek), in 2024 the Ministry of Education and Culture’s Public Relations and Cooperation Bureau (BPKM) will hold a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) for Information Management Officials and Documentation (PPID) at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) which was held at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Thursday (7\/4\/2024)<\/p>\r\n

This coordination meeting is also in order to encourage PTNs and work u nits at the Ministry of Education and Culture to achieve qualifications as Informative Public Bodies at the KIP Monev in 2024. Apart from that, this activity was held to support efforts to successfully implement bureaucratic reform at the Ministry of Education and Culture, especially strengthening public information openness.<\/p>\r\n

Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Suharti, gave a speech and at the same time officially opened this coordination meeting. On this occasion he conveyed the importance of PPID to be actively involved in providing public services.<\/p>\r\n

It is also hoped that PPID will jointly look for ideas and suggestions on how to improve performance in managing information and documentation. Because innovation is better implemented in collaboration. Apart from that, this Coordination Meeting is also an event for friendship and synergy which will produce recommendations for providing information services within the Ministry of Education and Culture. “To achieve INFORMATIVE information openness, we need to strengthen and innovate in providing information services, because the public has begun to understand information openness,” said the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and Technology.<\/p>\r\n

Gede Narayana, S.E., M.Si., Commissioner of the Indonesian Central Information Commission, as the resource person said that public information disclosure is not just limited to words, but also requires real actions. Apart from that, he also said that the parameters of good governance are transparency, accountability and community participation.<\/p>\r\n

In this Coordination Meeting, recommendations were also made to the Ministry of Education and Culture, namely:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

  1. PPID Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology encourages a policy to allocate budget to each work unit;<\/li>\r\n \t
  2. PPID Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology encourages the existence of a performance index or work unit agreement in the ministry’s strategic plan;<\/li>\r\n \t
  3. PPID Kemdikbudristek encourages supervision, monitoring and evaluation of PPID performance in each work unit on a regular and continuous basis;<\/li>\r\n \t
  4. PPID Kemdikbudristek encourages holding PPID unit training in each work unit;<\/li>\r\n \t
  5. PPID Kemdikbudristek encourages the preparation of guidelines for managing PPID, DIP and Excluded Information List which can be used as a reference for each PPID work unit.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
