Banjarmasin \u2013 The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is an effort to improve the quality of students so they have academic abilities. Apart from that, PKM is also expected to be able to increase, develop and apply science and technology in society. Students are given the opportunity to apply their abilities, skills, attitudes of responsibility, build team solidarity and independence. For this reason, the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau of Lambung Mangkurat University (BAK ULM) carried out Socialization activities and a Workshop on Increasing the Capacity of Students and Accompanying Lecturers in Preparing Proposals for the ULM Student Creativity Program (PKM) which was held on Friday (2\/2\/2024). The event which took place in the General building of the ULM Lecture Theater was opened by the Vice Rectorfor Student and Alumni Affairs at ULM Dr. Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Sc. This event presented guest speakers Suherman, S.Si, M.Sc., Ph.D as Junior National Partner and Chair of the 2023 PIMNAS Council, Deputy Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Head of BAK, Student and Alumni Development Coordinator , PIC for Student and Alumni Affairs, PIC PKM Faculty and ULM students<\/p>\n
Dr. Rusmin hopes that there will be a lot of student participation in joining this PKM, which currently according to the data obtained is 63 groups that have been successfully funded. One thing that is of particular concern is how ULM students can have knowledge related to preparing reports that can be accepted in assessments. Therefore, ULM presents Dr. Suherman as a resource person to provide enlightenment regarding this matter. Moreover, it is more likely that funding will be given to groups with the desired proposals and in accordance with the format. Therefore, by inviting the Chair of the 2023 PIMNAS Jury, Dr. It is hoped that Suherman can be a solution so that many ULM PKM groups can qualify for funding. “This year’s PKM 8 fields will be explained by the resource person, tricks and so on from preparing the report.” Said Dr. Rusmin.<\/p>\n
The Vice Chancellor also in his speech expressed high hopes for the Faculty which still did not make maximum contributions to last year’s PKM. He continues to make improvements in order to motivate his students to continue to develop themselves, one of which is by recognizing courses. This is certainly a good opportunity to make students more motivated to take part in PKM. “We will improve the recognition and then we will also improve the SKPI so that students will be more enthusiastic,” he added.<\/p>\n
This Socialization and Workshop event was guided by Moderator Dr. Muhammad Abdan Shadiqi who is an undergraduate lecturer in the Psychology Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is a PKM assistant lecturer who is familiarly called Diqi who succeeded in getting groups into PIMNAS three times in a row. In fact, in 2023, his PKM group managed to win a silver medal. This is what makes Dr. Rusmin did not forget to appreciate the hard work of students and lecturers accompanying the PKM group, especially the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences who contributed a lot in obtaining funding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
