One of them is arranging or managing the administration of payments and expenses. The treasurer is responsible for paying bills and government expenses. They must ensure that all payments are made in accordance with established procedures and that the funds paid are used for legitimate purposes. Therefore, it is necessary to increase understanding by the Treasurer between one work unit and another so that there are no misperceptions, one of which is regarding the imposition of tax on tax objects by the Treasurer and Financial Manager within Lambung Mangkurat University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), initiated by the Vice Rector\u00a0for Planning, Finance and General Affairs, ULM, carried out a Workshop on Tax Obligations of the ULM government treasurer on Wednesday (21\/2\/2024). This activity was initiated in order to increase and equalize perceptions regarding the imposition of tax on objects by the Treasurer and Financial Manager within the ULM environment. The event, which took place in the Lecture Theater Building, Faculty of Economics and Business, ULM, invited the Dean of the Faculty, Director of Postgraduate Programs, Coordinator of Undergraduate and Diploma Study Programs, Head of Bureau, Head of Institution, Chair of UPA, Chair of SPI, Contractual Commitment Making Officer, Rectorate\u00a0Commitment Making Official, Financial Coordinator , Expenditure Treasurer, PPSPM, Assistant Expenditure Treasurer, and employees within ULM. This activity was fully supported by the Head of the Banjarmasin Primary Tax Services office, Devyanus Christofel Narsizzuz Polii, who also presented a resource person who was an expert on the theme of the activity, namely Azwar Syam, who is the Functional Tax Instructor for the Central Kalimantan DJP Regional Office, with material on the Treasurer&#8217;s tax obligations withholding PPh Articles 22, 23, 4 paragraph 2 and PPh Article 21 based on the provisions of PMK-168 of 2023 and Fahruzaini who is the Functional Tax Instructor of the Central Kalimantan DJP Regional Office with a presentation regarding the E-Bupot application regarding PPh Article 21 and TER guided by Moderator Alfathir Badra, Functional Tax Instructor of the Central Kalimantan DJP Regional Office.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This activity discusses tax obligations, especially tax obligations in terms of withholding and collection obligations, which are one of the duties of the Treasurer. Moreover, tax obligations, especially for government agencies, already have a legal basis.
