Banjarmasin \u2013 Career & Entrepreneurship Development Program (CEDC) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held the Expose: Results of the 2023 ULM Tracer Study on Thursday (21\/12\/2023) in the 1st Floor Hall of the ULM Rectorate. Lambung Mangkurat University’s CEDC is an interactive vehicle that supports efforts to improve networking by forming an information network on job and\/or business opportunities, business development, solving business problems, developing the quality of human resources, as well as aligning human resource needs with the business world in South Kalimantan.<\/p>\r\n

CEDC ULM also plays an important role in conducting Tracer Study, where this program is a method used to trace the careers and experiences of graduates from educational programs at ULM. Tracer Study is carried out by collecting data from graduates through surveys, interviews, or focus group discussions, where the collected data is then analyzed to identify trends and patterns.<\/p>\r\n

This Tracer Study program is believed by the Acting Head of the ULM Academic Bureau, Hj. Nieke Febriantie, S.E., M.M., as a good strategy for improving the quality of education at ULM.<\/p>\r\n

“Tracer Study is feedback from graduates and alumni which we then take as input to improve the quality and education system in our universities,” she said.<\/p>\r\n

This was conveyed not without reason, but because the success of the Tracer Study in collecting data will have an impact on achieving Main Performance Indicators (KPI) 1 for Higher Education. This means that Tracer Study must also receive special attention from universities in order to improve the quality and make the higher education system better.<\/p>\r\n

Based on the report from the chairman of CEDC ULM, Dr. Irwansyah, the Tracer Study has been quite well implemented and coordinated by the ULM CEDC team. This was conveyed because currently the data collection method in Tracer Study is Android-based so that alumni can easily access and fill in data. Apart from that, CEDC has also succeeded in collecting more than 60% of alumni Tracer Study data, where this figure has reached the specified target to meet KPI 1.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
