Palangka Raya – The Mathematics Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) together with the Mathematics Study Program FMIPA Palangka Raya University (UPR) have agreed to collaborate in the fields of teaching and research. This agreement is based on the signing of the Implementation Arrangement document on Saturday (28\/10\/2023) at the PPIIG Building, Palangka Raya University.<\/p>\n
The signing was a follow-up to the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) which had previously been agreed upon by the Head of the ULM FMIPA Mathematics Study Program Pardi Alfandi, S.Si., M.Sc., and the Head of the UPR FMIPA Mathematics Study Program Dita Monita, S.Pd., M .Si. The forms of collaboration planned are research collaboration between two study programs, joint book writing, hybrid training of teachers in Central Kalimantan, and a return visit in the form of a guest lecture at the FMIPA Mathematics Study Program, Lambung Mangkurat University.<\/p>\n
On this agenda, the ULM group was welcomed by Palangka Raya University. After the Implementation Arrangement signing session was completed, the agenda then continued with a guest lecture session, research sharing, and discussion of cooperation plans.<\/p>\n
The guest lecture session was attended by four lecturers from ULM, namely Saman Abdurrahman, S.Sc., M.Sc., with the topic of Soft Sets and Soft Matrices. Followed by Faisal, M.Sc., with the topic of Prey and Predator Competition Models, then Oni Soesanto, S.Si., M.Si with the topic of Fuzzy Sets and their Application in Decision Making. Finally, the guest lecture session was attended by Aprida Siska Lestia, S.Si., M.Si., who delivered material about Annuities in Life Insurance.<\/p>\n
Head of the UPR FMIPA Mathematics Study Program, Dita Monita, S.Pd., M.Sc., said that this guest lecture activity was held with the aim of sharing knowledge in the field of mathematics, considering that this activity was attended not only by lecturers and study program staff, but also students from the UPR FMIPA Mathematics Study Program.<\/p>\n
Dean of FMIPA Palangka Raya University, Dr. Siti Sunariyati, M.Sc., who was also present at this activity, expressed her appreciation for the collaboration that had been carried out between the ULM FMIPA Mathematics study program and the UPR FMIPA Mathematics study program. He hopes that this collaboration can later be expanded not only in the fields of teaching and research, but also in the field of community service.<\/p>\n
